- 2026/7/7 Toma Uruizaka, a recent master's graduate, presented "Haptic Rendering of Pre-Sliding Friction as a Cue for Grip Force Adjustment" at EuroHaptics 2026.
- 2026/5/16-17 Our laboratory will be open to the public during Suzukake Science Day 2026. The laboratory will be open from 11:00 to 16:00 on Saturday, May 16, and from 11:00 to 15:00 on Sunday, May 17.
- 2025/10/11 Master's student Hiroto Tsutsui and coauthors presented "Community Analysis of Social Virtual Reality Based on Large-Scale Log Data of a Commercial Metaverse Platform" at the IEEE International Symposium on Emerging Metaverse (ISEMV) 2025 and received the Best Paper Award.
- 2025/10/8-11 Master's student Rikuto Sagehashi presented a poster entitled "Influence of tactile presence and body ownership on virtual stroking pleasantness" at the IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR).
- 2025/6/19 Ph.D. student XU Yunxiu published a paper entitled "Lightweight Fingernail Haptic Device: Unobstructed Fingerpad Force and Vibration Feedback for Enhanced Virtual Dexterous Manipulation" in IEEE Transactions on Haptics.
- 2025/6/4 Second-year master's student Kan Ishikawa received "The Best Seed Awards" at the SSS&ISE Interdisciplinary Matching Workshop (Super Smart Society Promotion Consortium).
- 2025/03/10 Our laboratory will be open to the public during Suzukake Science Day 2025. The laboratory will be open from 11:00 to 16:00 on Saturday, May 17, and from 11:00 to 15:00 on Sunday, May 18.
- 2025/3/8-3/12 Ph.D. student XU Yunxiu presented a poster entitled "Lightweight Wearable Fingertip Haptic Device with Tangential Force Feedback based on Finger Nail Stimulation" at The 32nd IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces.
